are all over the country. Lyfja in Lágmúla 7 is open from 08.00 to 24.00 daily.

 

Currency

The Icelandic monetary unit is the Króna, ISK.  The coins in use are 1, 5, 10, 50, and 100 kr.  The notes are 500, 1.000, 2.000, 5.000 and 10.000 kr. Foreign exchange is available in banks all over the country.

 

Debit cards

Electron, Maestro and EDC debit cards are commonly accepted.  Cash can be obtained against these cards in all banks, ATM´s as well as against Cirrus and Eurocheque ATM-only cards.  Diners Club and JCB cardholders with Cirrus acceptance have access to all ATM´s.

 

Credit cards

VISA and MasterCard are the major cards in Iceland.. MasterCard is the agent for Diners Club and JCB.
