Hótel Eldhestar was the first lodging in Iceland to receive the Nordic ecolable, the Nordic Swan
We drew inspiration from the colors and materials in Icelandic nature as well as from the culture. Genuine craftmanship and old tradition inspire the interior in a house built with ecological technology.
We have dedicated our hotel to the Icelandic horse – our most useful servant for centuries. On the walls there are old photos and texts that remind us of the importance of the horse through the ages.

Bíldudalur hostel, near Arnarfjörður, is one of the HI network of hostels in Iceland. The hostel is well situated south, on the West fjords with around 200 inhabitants. All basic services are available in the town, such as little shop, café during the summertime, a post office and a bank. The hostel is perfectly located by the harbour where guests can watch the fishing boats sail in the fjord.

The house is a pleasant old farmhouse which has been converted to a Hostel. The area around Húsey is very spectacular and a "paradise" for nature lovers. Osar is located on the Vatnsnes Peninsula, 25 km north of road no. 1. In the recent years the hostel has been completely renovated.Ósar ocean beach is full of life. Seals abound and also eider ducks and other birds, and the rock Hvítserkur, which resembles a prehistoric Dinosaur, is within walking distance from the Hostel.
Reyðarfjörður

Reyðarfjörður is a town of 1500 inhabitants and conveniently located for exploring the East Fjords. The Hostel is located in two cozy houses on the same street. Vallargerði 9 houses the reception and a café where meals are served for lunch and dinner, and light refreshments and snacks are available throughout the day; Belgian waffles and crépes anre the café’s specialities. Vallargerði 14 has a guest kitchen and a barbeque, where you can prepare your own meal and mingle with your fellow travellers, and a sauna which you can use for a small price.

Arrival and departure point for the Norröna ferry and a town full of culture - Seyðisfjörður is no ordinary village. The hostel in Seyðisfjörður is housed in two different atmospheric wooden buildings, the one in Ránargata 9, a bit outside the village facing the harbor having only double/twin rooms and the other in a 100 year old Norvegian built hospital in the center of town at Suðurgata 8. This is were you find the reception.

The hostel is located in Vík, a small village with appr. 300 inhabitants. From the hostel you have a very good view over the village. In the hostel you will find a guest kitchen and a dining room. All services are close by. Dyrhólaey is only 15 km from the Hostel. Vík has a beautiful nature and the area around the hostel is ideal for hiking. Museums and golf courses are close by.

Laugarvatn

In the center of the golden circle, Laugarvatn hostel is great for a day of exploring or you can relax and get pampered at the Fontana geothermal steam baths. Laugarvatn is a village with 300 inhabitants and is located midway between Þingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir, 100 km from Reykjavík. The Hostel is located in 3 houses, all of them have well equipped guest kitchens and a living room with TV. Two of the houses have hot tubs available for the guests and the third one is next to an outdoor swimming pool. One of the buildings has rooms with en-suite facilities.
The campsite is located in a green area in Reykjavík
Reykjavík Eco Campsite is a five star campsite perfectly located 3 km from the city centre. The campsite can accommodate up to 650 persons in tents, cabins, cars or caravans. The campsite is located in a green area in the city, next door to one of Iceland’s largest and most popular geothermal swimming pools.
The camping ground at Fljótstunga is simple and quiet and not intended for many people at a time. Campers have a large space for themselves. Camping includes WC facilities, drinking water, shower and access to the dining and relaxing space at the farm. At the farm we also have a small information center for our guests and a person in charge of taking care of the area.
